Strategies for Effective Bystander Intervention
This IN PERSON training explores the factors that may inhibit or encourage bystander
intervention, especially in situations involving bias, harassment and
discrimination. Participants will investigate:
Cognitive and psychological influences regarding whether and how
people get involved.
Delve into strategies for intervening. Participants will also learn about the
New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and consider the importance of
bystander intervention within the context of civil rights law
