Strategies for Effective Bystander Intervention

This IN PERSON training explores the factors that may inhibit or encourage bystander
intervention, especially in situations involving bias, harassment and
discrimination. Participants will investigate:
Cognitive and psychological influences regarding whether and how
people get involved.
Delve into strategies for intervening. Participants will also learn about the
New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and consider the importance of
bystander intervention within the context of civil rights law
