NORTHERN NEW JERSEY ALERT SYSTEM
Federation is pleased to introduce our new mass communication security alert system. It will make it easier and quicker to reach our community institutions with time-sensitive security information.
NNJ Alert System will allow us to share security-related messages, in a matter of moments, to the leadership of our local Jewish institutions. Federation is collaborating on this system with Secure Community Network (SCN) – the national security arm of Jewish Federations of North America.
Alerts will be labeled as General Notices, Critical Incidents, or No Threat Incidents to make it easy to identify and address all communications.
Please register 3-4 members of your organization that are prepared and authorized to handle critical and timely information. We recommend that at least one of your appointed contacts has the authority and means to communicate with your entire community and understands the security plan at your facility.
*Please send us your contact information as soon as possible. It is also extremely important to let us know when leadership and responsibility roles change within your facility or organization so there will be no lapse in receiving important security information.
