We’re angry. We’re sad. We’re resentful. We’re grieving.

Hamas terrorists launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from Gaza, firing thousands of rockets, breaching the country’s borders, killing hundreds, wounding thousands more, and abducting scores of Israelis — including children and the elderly — and holding them captive in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war against Hamas.

YOUR GIFT HELPS MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
For those who have already donated – Thank you!

If you have not yet made a donation, please donate today. Israel needs our support. Below you will find a description of how donations are making an impact. As the war continues, needs will constantly be assessed and funds will be allocated appropriately. .

Through our partners at Jewish Federations of North America funds are already providing critical supplies and services. Understanding that there will be long and short terms needs, the current funds distributed are providing medical care, emergency services, evacuation, transport, housing, supporting victims of terror, trauma relief and psychological support.

At the request of our sister city of Nahariya, we will assist in equipping an emergency response team. The emergency response team is a security force made of specially trained residents of Nahariya who can quickly respond to a security incident until additional forces arrive. This is particularly vital given Nahariya’s location in the north of Israel, approximately seven miles south of the Lebanon border and often a target of Hezbollah militants.

In the spirit of community we will be working with our partners at the Metrowest Federation, we will be providing support to the residents of Ofakim, their sister city.  Ofakim is in southern Israel, and has been decimated by Hamas terrorists. We will be providing support for the relocation of its residents, and their immediate medical and psychological needs.

COMMUNITY SOLIDARITY GATHERING

We’re hopeful.

On Tuesday October, 10th, we showed our solidarity with Israel as a community when 5,000 people came together along with 1400 people on zoom from 6 countries and 25 states. We’re indebted to our many elected officials who continue to advocate on behalf of Israel. We are grateful to our partners in the broader community who share our values and commitment to humanity. We are blessed to have wonderful clergy to lead us spiritually through this devastating time.

Am Yisrael Chai!
