Kaplen JCC on the Palisades: Stand-Up for the Arts

We are thrilled to announce Stand-Up For The Arts 2024, presented by the Kaplen Foundation! This special evening will feature Michael Rapaport with special guests, Sarge the Comedian and others! Laughter isn’t just entertainment; it’s a healing force, especially within our Jewish community.

The arts are a vibrant thread that brings us together here at the J. They are essential to a wide range of programs with immeasurable impact, from enriching the lives of all ages to being a powerful tool for mental health and well-being. We’re coming together as a community to celebrate the arts, uplift spirits, and show our unwavering support.

100% of the proceeds from the event will support arts-related, mission-driven activities at the Kaplen JCC:

• Art therapy for Israeli children displaced by the Israel-Hamas war;

• JCC Community Theater performances educating the broader community about Antisemitism; and

• Senior programs which use art therapy to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
