High School trip to Washington DC Holocaust Memorial Museum
Congregation B’nai Sholom/Fair Lawn Jewish Center invites high school students to join us for a meaningful and memorable one-day educational trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, November 15, 2026.
Students will travel by coach bus, departing CBS/FLJC promptly at 6:00 AM. The experience will begin on the ride to Washington with a special learning session led by Holocaust educator Neil Garfinkle and Rabbi Eitan Bloostein, helping students prepare for and better understand what they will encounter at the Museum. A kosher bagel breakfast and snacks will be provided.
At the Museum, students will experience the Permanent Exhibition, bringing the history and personal stories of the Holocaust to life in a powerful and meaningful way. Following the Museum visit, we will enjoy a kosher lunch and spend time at the National Mall and Lincoln Memorial before beginning our trip home to Fair Lawn.
Thanks to the generous support of the Max Findling Fund, the cost is $36 for CBS/FLJC members, $54 for non-members by November 1, and $108 for non-members after November 1.
Scholarships are available, and we do not want cost to prevent any student from participating.
Space is limited to 40 students and advance registration is required. Please complete the information below to reserve your student’s place for this important educational experience: https://fljc.shulcloud.com/form/ushmm-trip-registration—november-2026.html
