Community Wide Event :Memories of the Mizrach at the Kaplen JCC (BPY)
Ben Porat Yosef will be hosting the 3rd annual screening of Memories of the Mizrach through which our 7th grade class will be presenting an oral history of Jewish Sephardic culture as told by pioneer emigrants from North Africa and the Near and Middle East through a series of interviews of the students’ family members. Our very own Soued and Zeitlin families will be featured in the program. The screening will take place on May 13th at 7:30pm at Kaplan JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly, NJ. Light refreshments will take place following the screening. OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY!
