NNJ Madrichim Leadership Training
Earn a Certificate in Jewish Classroom Leadereship and join peers from across Northern New Jersey for Madrichim (classroom leaders) training brought to you by Moving Traditions and The Center for Teen Engagement.
Open to enthusiastic teens in 8th – 12th grade from our area who volunteer at their local synagogues.

- Connect with other Jewish teens in Northern NJ and build a
strong community - Make a difference for younger students and grow as a role model
What you’ll gain:
- Learn important skills like empathic listening, mentorship, giving feedback, setting boundaries, consent, communication, inclusion for different learners, and more.
- Receive a $100 stipend or 10 community service hours for your participation at the end of the year.
- Become a more confident and effective madrich/a through practical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Gain valuable leadership experience that strengthens college, job, and scholarship applications.
