Yeshivat Shalshelet seeks full-time and part time Judaic studies and general studies assistant teachers for grades 2-8 to join our collaborative and innovative educational team for the 2025-2026 school year.
Principal Responsibilities:
Support whole group and small group instruction
Support classes in a variety of subjects, which may include reading, writing, math, social studies and Judaic studies
Apply a multisensory, diagnostic and prescriptive approach to academic instruction
Support development and delivery of curriculum in instructional subject areas
Support social-emotional development of students
Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student learning
Support management of classroom routines and behaviors
Develop positive, collaborative working relationships with colleagues, administration, students and parents
Participate in team meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to teach using multi-sensory education methods
Willingness to be trained in highly specialized approaches to teaching students with language-based learning differences
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
