Taking Action: Responding to the Rise in Antisemitism

Antisemitism affects Jews across the globe, unraveling the fabric of societies everywhere it surfaces. Join us for a crucial discussion as a panel of national figures will discuss the path forward to address the shocking rise in antisemitism since October 7, 2023; Sunday, September 29, at 6:30 pm in the Taub Auditorium at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades.

Learn actionable steps the community can take to work with government and educational institutions to stand up to the hateful voices and events unleashed in our towns and schools. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a movement for solidarity and change.

The panelists will be:

  • Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D), New Jersey Fifth Congressional District
  • Rep. Mike Lawler (R), New York Seventeenth Congressional District
  • Jonathan Greenblatt, President and CEO of ADL
  • Betsy Korn, Chair of AIPAC and Chair-Elect of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations

The panel will be moderated by Dr. Rachel Fish, Special Advisor to The Brandeis University Presidential Initiative to Counter Antisemitism in Higher Education. Opening remarks will be given by Ofir Akunis, Israeli Consul-General in New York.
