Chaverim B’Yachad Concert

You will hear Sharim v’Sharot and Mercaz Jewish Choir favorites, including the Partos arrangement of Ein Adir, a wild ride if ever there was one; Dave Schlossberg’s arrangement of the Nava Tehila Shalom Aleichem; Josh Ehrlich’s thrilling Chatzotzrot, an homage to the Levitical brass section; and Haflei Vafele (“A Wondrous Wonder!”), a tribal and explosive rendering of the story of Moses hitting the rock. And how about “Downtown” (made famous by Petula Clark) in Yiddish? Or a madrigal sandwich pairing Rossi and Morley?
