SUMMARY:Cemetery Association of North Jersey Shaimos Event
DESCRIPTION:In our continuing service to the community for the second time this year, the Cemetery Association in conjunction with the Community Alliance for Jewish Cemeteries is again burying books (Shaimos) for the Community on Sunday, November 23rd. We will be opening up 2 graves in the Americus Cemetery on Midland Ave in Saddle Brook, NJ. This project will be from 9:30am till 1:00pm. If the congregations or any of its members need to bury books, please let them know.\n\n1) This event is sponsored by the Cemetery Association of North Jersey\n\n2) All books need to be brought to the cemetery in PAPER BAGS  on that day as we have no storage capabilities.  Boxes will not be accepted.  You can pre-package your own bags or purchase bags at the cemetery for $1 per bag.  You will need to take any empty boxes, milk crates, or containers with you.\n\n3) There is a donation of $5.00 per bag. Anything over 10 bags, please contact me to discuss the donation.\n\n4) We invite volunteers to participate, especially younger volunteers, who will have the opportunity to learn how books are deposed of.\n\n5) Please contact me at 917-699-6057 or at meyer@cajfnj.org by Thursday, November 20th to give me an idea as to how many bags of books you will be bringing or if you have any questions!\n\nMickey Levine\nExec V.
